Unboxing the Amazon Wand

Amazon released yet another Alexa enabled device, the Amazon Wand and I've got my hands on one! Here's a look at the unboxing and some of my early impressions.

The Amazon Wand comes in typical Amazon Alexa packaging. A black box that's wrapped in the all familiar "Alexa blue" packaging. The cover is actually a sleeve with tape on either end, and once you remove that the box slides right out.

Inside you'll find the wand, 2 AA batteries, a plastic hook with an adhesive backing, a one paragraph manual, and some bar codes used to test to the device.

Here's a photo of everything that's included.

The wand has two halves. The upper white half is where Alexa and the scanner reside, while the lower black half functions as a handle, complete with a closed loop to hang it from the included hook. Stay tuned for a complete review after I've had a chance to put it through it's paces.
